S31 Party Alerts

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows the MIMS user to activate and inactivate alerts on parties.

 

Prerequisites:

 

1.       MIMS user must have applicable security authorization to access this screen.

            The following groups have access to this panel:

 

·         Administrative Assistants (view only)

·         Call Center Agents

·         Collections Agents (RGPU, File Intervention)

·         Collections Support Agents (RGPU, File Intervention) (view only)

·         Compliance Agents (Compliance 4, Compliance 5)

·         Compliance Support Agents (Compliance 4, Compliance 5) (view only)

·         Document Processing Agents

·         Finance Agents

·         Finance Support Agents

·         Finance Trust Accountants

If Party Number is known - Partyè Search è Alerts

 Procedure:

 

1.       Use the ‘Set Alert’ drop down box to activate/inactivate an alert on the party. Once selection is made, that selection will no longer appear on drop down list.

2.       Insert Comment. Once a comment is made and saved it cannot be edited or deleted.

3.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save the updated version.

4.       To inactivate an alert, click the ‘Inactive’ checkbox located next the desired currently active party alert.

5.       Click ‘Save’.

Description/Instructions

New Party Alert 

 

Set Alert

Select the appropriate type of alert on the selected party. Once the alert has been selected from the drop down list it cannot be selected again.

Comment

Describe situation (i.e. threatening and abusive during phone conversation).

Maximum length is 200 characters.

 

Click the ‘Save’ button after entering one or more criteria.

 

Current Party Alerts

 

Alert

Located under ‘Current Party Alerts’ area.

Lists the alerts placed on this particular party.

 

Comment Text

Displays comments made when the alert was previously entered into the system.

 

Activated By

Displays the MIMS user name that created the alert.

 

Active

Displays the date when the alert was created. Displays in YYY-MM-DD format where Y = Year, M = Month and  D = Day.

 

Inactivated By

Displays the MIMS user name that inactivated the alert.

 

Inactive

Click this button to inactivate a particular alert listed on the ‘Current Party Alerts’.

Party is not related as a debtor to any files.

Check party number.

Help Us Find can only be set on parties related to files of at least compliance level 5 as a debtor.

Check Compliance Level.

You are not authorized to activate that alert type.

Check the help prerequisites to see if you have security to complete the activity you are attempting.  If not refer to your team lead.
